A recent post by Doyle Buehler stated: A great strategy isn’t about what you want your business to “get.”

We usually think of it like this:

More profit
More leads
More customers
More status

A great strategy is about what you want your business to GIVE.

This post made me pause for thought. ⤵

Here are my thoughts: Focusing on what a business can give rather than what it can get is an important transformative approach. It shifts the perspective from a transactional to a value-creation mindset. In today’s market, customers are attracted to brands that prioritize adding value to their lives, communities, businesses, or the environment.

This approach not only fosters deeper customer relationships but also drives sustainable growth. Profits and status often follow as natural byproducts when you concentrate on genuinely contributing something meaningful. Always ask, “How does our business enrich the lives of those we serve?”

This is the heart of a truly impactful strategy.
